  1. It all depends on what you buy, how often you ride, and how you ride. Personally I ride 90+ days a year, and I ride hard. I go through at least one board a year, but I am the exception. If you are an intermediate rider, and ride the average 10 days a year, the board can last up to 6-7 seasons. Keep in mind, you get what you pay for.

In my opinion, stay away from Burton. I think they are overpriced for what you get. Every person I know, including myself, that has owned a Burton has broken it, including bindings. The exception would be their older race boards (ex: Factory Prime).

  2. You can ride a board for years - especially if you don't do rails and boxes which can really take a toll on the base. You can also get the base repaired if it gets torn up. I have had cheap boards last only one season and better high quality boards last 6 seasons - even riding 20 times per year.

Stay away from low end brands like Morrow and get a good quality board like Ride, K2, Rome, Lib Tech, etc - you will save money in the long run.

    Good Luck

  3. snowboards arent clothes buddy

they dont go out til u break em

sure technology makes newer boards some what better but old ones are still good

  4. it doesnt go out of season as long as its in good condition your fine you dont buy a new one every year

  5. i usually get three good seasons out of my boards you possibly could get 4-6 if your not riding park/street unless you just get sick of it and just want a new one haha like i also do

  6. Boards don't "go out of season". If your still growing that is the only thing to consider, you might want to buy one that's a little big if that's the case.

  7. it doesn't go out of season. a snowboard can last at least 5-6 seasons, if you are not riding it every day in the season. or if you go to the park to ride a lot.

reasons to buy a new board:

    1. cracked

    2. you are too tall for it

    3. you're bored of it

    4. it's too messed up to ride.

    5. you are going to give it to your friend or sibling
