Snowboarding.... and stuff?

Just about NO ONE at my school snowboards becuase theres no snow there. I really want to do like snow trips and stuff but my friends arnt interested in learning so i have to go alone. is there any where i can kinds like meet ppl or make my friends want to learn??? i go to rosebud SC so yea a bit of a weird question but yea

If you are on facebook you could make a group like rosebud snowboarders, and see who joins.... let people know when you are going, and they might come,if not, be friendly on the slopes and you will meet people there.

You can also go to meetup.com.  They usually have groups in the area that plan local trips.

so...to answer your question...there are a ton of places to meet people...here are two you might enjoy, they are kind of like myspace for snowboarders:

also check out craigslist...post an ad for people to go ride with, start your own group on myspace and invite people who have the same interests as you :)  most of all...have fun, that is what its all about :)  have a wonderful day.
