Snowboarding competitions for teens.?

Im fourteen years old but ill be turning fifteen in november. I like to snowboard and im pretty good at freestyle and im starting to look to participate in competitions. Does anyone know any competitions in the northeastern part of america. I live on long island and usually go up to places in vermont, ill go anywhere around there but not into canada.

  1. USASA Catskill Mountain Series is what you are looking for. Also, check out local mountains as they usually sponsor local comps like around Mountain Creek and Hunter/Windham Mtn.


  2. Nice! I compete in skiing. But USASA has competitions every year nationally. There are competitions held in vermont at selected mountains. There are also ones held in new hampshire and maine. The schedules, listings, etc. are on usasa.org. They have slopestyle (freestyle), pipe, boarder cross, and slalom. Tons of kids do it and if you place in the top 3 enough times you go to nationals. In 2009 nationals are in Copper, Colorado. Good Luck!
