  1. If you skateboard alot and do tricks, you will already have good balance. So if you do something like skateboarding or wakeboarding, you could learn in 1 day. My friend who is an almost-pro skateboarder learned in 2 hours and was sliding rails on his second day. If you haven't had any skill with any boarding sports, it will probably take a few days. Maybe a week.

  2. you'll get it back really quickly...happened to me...i wasn't even sure if i could ride anymore, but when you're on the slopes, it's just like swimming(you can never forget)

  3. My second year snowboarding was a bit hard.  I didn't get to go very often and I was riding at a very different ski area so I didn't really get back to where I was the year before.  However last year I didn't ride at all (had a baby on March 27th) and I didn't have any problem at all getting back into it.  The difference?  17 years of a lot of riding in between!!!!

Most people don't get to ride during the summer so most go a little less than a year in between (depending on where you live and how long your season is) and do just fine.  Maybe take a lesson as a refresher your first day back and expect for those legs to be a little sore at the end of the day!

Really though, it's something that is different for each person.

  4. When you go back to it after a summer away there is always a bit of setback, but it comes back really fast.

  5. It'll probably take a day on greens to get your head back in the game, two at most.  It's like riding a bike!

  6. if you already know how to do snowboard, and do it moderately well, doing it the next year or a while later some people might feel a little awkward at first, but you will get the hang of it again.

  7. my second season was rough. I had to relearn most of what I had already learned and forgot. By season 3 or 4 you'll be able to get right back into the swing of things after like a morning of getting the feel back. After that it comes back day one.

  8. no you just will be a little shaky thts it
