Snowboarding help?

Question

Been skiing all my life and would like to buy snowboard, prefrrbly a racing board. Anyone have any ideas on which kind to buy?

Im guessing by a racing board you mean a freeride board which are great for carving, rideing at very high speeds and riding in powder. The thing with freeride percfic boards is they are quite hard to ride due to there stiffness, and you can only really get freeride percific boards from internediate level up to advanced level. If you are a begineer rider you will be best off with an All mountain board as it will be easyier to control and learn on. Good luck with the riding.
