I went to Hakuba in January and had a great time. Snowboarded on gyuru, 47 and happo one. I want to hit the slopes again in febuary. I know the ins and outs of getting to and staying in Hakuba but always like to try new places but want to hear if its worth trying Naeba. I hear is lively in the evening too. but no night skiing? is that correct? Hakuba was 5 hours by keio bus from shinkjuku, not sure on Naeba yet. I'd want to keep it fairly buget so cheap bus is preffered. Thanks for your time.

  1. Almost of the people go there by shinkansen&bus or by car.

I know there are some buses of travel agencies. Of course, they are cheap. But, you have to reserve by yourself.

    I recommend shinkansen.

I haven't ever been there, but my ex-co-workers have  been there several times a year. Yeah, its powder snow is very famous. I think it is worth snowboarding. It might be very crowded, though.

And, lifts stop at 9PM (10PM on Sat). I think you can enjoy night-snowboarding.
