Snowboarding or Skiing ?

Question

- ive never been and my friend invited me to come to colorado with them.

- i can ride the ripstick which is kind of supposed to be like a snowboard.

-we are going to be there for a week

- im 14

- have very good balance

Since you're going to be there a week I vote for going with the snowboard.  It'll take you a day or two to get comfortable with it and from there on you'll have a blast.

Skiing is easier to start but it's hard to move to an intermediate level than a snowboard.

The ripstick might help you a bit with how the feet move but it isn't snowboarding "training."  Take a lesson on the first day that you're there and it'll set you up with your basics and prep you for rippin' it up.

ID do skiing

skiing is easier to learn and harder to master and snowboarding is harder to learn and easier to master

snow boarding you fall alot harder too

I have no clue what Ripstick is, but if I were you I would choose snowboarding. It's far harder than skiing, but it's far better than skiing.
