Snowboarding or skiing< no idea on how to spell that xD?

Question

lolz yeah my friend and i had a ski trainer with us so that helped alot..so id probably get one for snowboarding XD this time i wont go down a huge hill...without knowing how to stop..thought i do on snowboards,well i heard how to xD

its easier 2 ski if u have already done it bfore but u can try snowbording now and it will b hard at 1st but u will get used 2 it and u will also need 2 take a few lessons

For beginners (As in if you&#039;ve never tried either), skiing is a LOT easier. All you do is keep your skis parallel to each other, and to turn, you just bend your knees. (Or something...it&#039;s been years since I went skiing.)

Snowboarding, on the other hand, is easier if you&#039;ve done skateboarding before. However, I snowboard now, and I think if it as a bigger challenge and a lot more fun than skiing. You just need to learn how to control your board more when snowboarding, compared to skiing.

In the short term (your first day/week at the mountain) skiing is easier.  Snowboarding takes a few days to get the hang of and become competent at.

In the long term snowboarding is easier to become advanced at than skiing.

I prefer snowboarding but I wouldn&#039;t go so far as to say that I think it&#039;s better.  It&#039;s not totally easy to learn but it doesn&#039;t take much, just a bit of practicing.

If snowboarding is something you&#039;re interested in doing then do it!  It&#039;s a blast and you will never know until you try it if it&#039;s easy for you.

well i have just arrived back from austria about 1 hour ago and skiing is ALOT easier to learn but snowboarding is alot harder and more fun :)

i have skiied three times so i think that skiing is easier. my friend told me that snowboarding is harder than it looks, and is more difficult to turn and stop.

skiing=to learn, harder to master

snowboarding=harder to learn, easier to master

I would go with snowboarding.  Its a lot easier to do tricks and cool things, but skiing also has its pros.

Skiing is a lot easier to learn!

i learned to ski when i was 6

but snowboarding is more challenging and more fun i think

skiing is easier to go up rope tows, and get on the chairlift haha
