Snowboarding pants are too long?

I've never gone snowboarding before. And I will in a few weeks. I just bought myself snowboarding pants and unfortunately they're long for me. And I think the length in my size is really long coz most of the sizes are just s, xs, m, l, xl. they don't ask you what inseams you'd prefer. does it matter how long it is. it's not super long. but it is still long. i'm just wondering if it matters and if it will just rise up when i put my boots on. i just don't want to trip over stuff when i start snowboarding.

  1. Unless they're super long, they will probably be fine once you get your boots on. If they're still a little long (to the point they they're getting in the way of your bindings) just roll 'em up a tad. It won't hurt for them to be a little long.

  2. its unlikely that they will get in the way of your board, just put them so that your highback keeps them from dragging on the ground.  if they drag in front of your boot then you have a problem.  chances are they wont.  being long is fine, lots of people like their pants to be baggy, I know I do.  just think that its better for them to be long than it is for them to be too short.  dont worry, your pants wont affect you, just take care and good luck learning how to snowboard.  its alot of fun youll have a blast.

  3. your pants shouldn't matter. if they are alittle big its fine. my pants are way too long when i wear shoes but they fit me fine when i wear my boots. as long as the pants aren't dragging on the snow you should be fine.
