  1. if you buy a burton snow board it tells you wich snow board is best for free style. as for the length it should up to your chin. if theres any other questions skciD(spell skcid back wards) Sporting Goods is a great store to find out and purchase a snow board

  2. If you want to do slalom and downhill stuff then the board should be a little longer, just above your chin.  But for tricks and quick turns a shorter board is better, just a little below the chin.  Whatever you decide, you can't go wrong with the chin lol.

And the rule of thumb is your chin bro.  Nose is way too tall for anything but slalom.  You could barely turn a board like that.

  3. 149 or 151 should be good to try.   You'll also want to look at the lighter boards and boards that have good flex to them.  This helps in turning the board and with slides & landings.

I'd suggest renting boards at these lengths before buying.  Most rentals do demo's for boards.

(Rule of thumb for snowboard length is your nose, for freestyle you want a bit shorter, for downhill & powder a bit longer.... Also add an 1" or 2" in length if you are very experienced)

  4. Try 151. It really depends on what you are planning to do though. If you want to do all the tricks and such it would be different than if you just wanted to ride down the hill.

  5. im a girl too, im 5'1 and i ride a 140, its a tiny bit big for me cause i ride all park, its the rome detail, i really love the board, even it being a litttle big its a sick board, if your going ot be riding park as well, i'd say get a 144-146 max for your height, get a rome too, you wont regret it, they are awesome, flexy light weight, and they are the only brand out there who makes a sickk park board for girls too.. check out the rome detail

  6. 149-151
