Snowboards for begginers?

Question

im just getting into snowboarding so i have a few questions bout boards. can some one post a pic of a board i descrobe hat would best suit me? i would like a nice comfortable board that is a little wide. easy for turning and controll and lnot too heavey and not too light. good for jumping. BEST ANSWER GETS 10 PTS;]

I think the only board fo a begginer should be a low priced used board, i hate **** snowboarders with nice boards. IF UR A BEGGINER U DON'T NEED A SICK BOARD U JUST LOOK MORE LIKE A POSER. "Good for jumping" wtf i think u want a board good for jumpS or good for park. Get ur **** together and stop being such a poser

I think the burton twin will fit you! its light, twin for jumps and freestyle, but still good for learning on. Its great for what your asking for as your board!

You're going to want to get a shorter board that's got a lot of flexibility to it.

Lots of companies make them and you can buy them just about anywhere.  Don't become a Burton disciple because everyone here is always talking about them.  Burton's not the only good brand and they're actually a bit overpriced for what they offer.

Rent a board your first 6-10 trips up so you can get a feel for riding, buy your boots first and ride rentals with your boots.  Once you've got the basics down then go and buy yourself a beginner-to-interermediate board and your skills should come right along.

No one on the internet is going to be able to decipher what you wrote and recommend you a snowboard that you should actually go out and buy.  Talk to employees at a board shop (not a sports store) because they ride a lot and will be able to pick a good board for your skills and budget.

Go for an entry level all mountain board which will be good for all types of riding, and will be easy to ride and learn the basics on. Some good boards you should check out are
