Alright, I got a Lamar and I've been using it for a year, but I just feel its to long for me for some reason, if I weigh 165, and I'm 5'9-5'10, What should be my board length?

  1. It would help if you tell us your board's length. I'm 5'10 @ 175lbs, and I'm riding burton 7 158. Suites me fine. It also depends on what your style is, park, pipes or groom.


  2. I don;t know what your current board length is.  I'm 6'1" and weigh about the same as you and I ride a 156.  I downsized from a 159 to gain more control.  The board is an '08 Santa Cruz Largo.  If you feel the board it too long, then by all means drop down to a smaller size.  You might want to rent a board and find out what a good length might be.

  3. try somewhere in the 150's. You shouldn't really need anything longer than 158.

  4. A normal board should come up the about the middle of your neck. If that feels like its too big, then get a shorter board that goes up to your collarbone. and if you have big feet you should get a wider board.
