For those of you up north. When it still snowing in April does the trees and flowers still bloom or what? Wondering because here in Texas everything starts to bloom in late February early March and starts getting hot,but always see on weather snow up north until early April.

  1. Here in WV we frequently have snow on tulips and the yellow forsythia blooms. The flowers just shrug it off and keep blooming. A hard frost, however, may kill a lot of them, as it freezes the flower.

  2. I live in Colorado, and we just got a lot of trees blooming and flowers, and we just got a fabulous snow storm, which gave you guys tornados! But everything usually still lives unless a lot of snow sits on the ground for awhile. But here is Colorado the climate is so snow, our snow just sublimates. We can have a couple inches on the ground and within a couple hours the ground will be completely dry. It doesn't melt, just evaporates into a gas. :-(

  3. It doesnt snow any more . Al Gore says so.

  4. It depends on temperature. If it starts getting into the 50's continuously the trees will start to bud. Around here, Chicago, the trees are just starting. In northern WI where I'm from, they just got another 7 inches of snow dumped on them.
