I have a 97' ski doo formula z 583 and i was wondering what is the biggest lug track i can put on it

If you're going to ride powder, a 2" would be fine. but if you trail ride, a 2" would not be too good of a idea. generally a 2"  on a hard pack trail does not usually kick up enough snow on the heat exchangers. so you might have a chance to overheat. just make sure you put on the correct tunnel protectors.

With that size engine I would not go bigger than a 151 with a 2 inch lug. That would be pushing it for that size of engine but you could probably make it work.
