Snowskates and Snowdecks?

Whats the difference between the two? Ive heard snowdecks are then ones with the ski blade on the bottom, but im not sure. Thanks

You are right.  Snowskates are similar to skateboard decks, except they have exaggerated noses and tails, while snowdecks have the small ski on the bottom.  Snowskates are more common and are less expensive.  They are usually nylon and fiberglass with a foam grip, although some are wood.  They are better suited for rails, boxes and tricks, while snowdecks are better for speed downhills.
