So, Georgia attacks the capital of S. Ossetia, and kills 2000 people and 12 Russian troops-what was the point?

how did they expect Russia to respond? i'm listening to talk radio and they many only said that Russia attacked Georgia, and NEVER mentioned that Georgia initiated the conflict

  1. Indeed.  They probably expected the West to risk all out war with Russia. Wishful thinking some would call it, more like delusional if you ask me.

    One word Kosovo.

    Now the West harps about the Territorial integrity of Georgia but Russia says they must protect the Russian citizens who are the majority against Georgian aggression. That's exactly the same argument the US and NATO made in Kosovo, we have to protect the Albanians, who are the majority afteral, from Serb aggression. No one cared about the territorial integrity of Serbia. At that time Kosovo was as much an integral part of Serbia as Ossetia is of Georgia today but NATO bombers kicked the Serbs out anyway

    This is the exact same situation but the West is on the other side. For everyone with their eyes open this episode should once and for all cure the delusion we have a free press and aren't subjugated to illogical propaganda

  3. its Informational WAR, where they dont even tell the full story, Georgian military needs to invade both Osetias and Abkhazia in order to join NATO ( Nato wont take countries who have theretorial problems ) thats it, Georgian army has been attacking Osetia with missle systems called GRAD ( Hail ) that thing doesnt have a target, it just lands wherever u point it to, and CNN or any other US Info agency is not telling the full story is that the DEMOCRACY ?!  

  4. south Osetia is Georgian Territory you looked at the Google map and saw Russia but it is Georgian Territory.
