  1. It feels good, it's a physical representation of  the pain we cannot see, but feel.

  2. If you're scared of the pain then I don't understand why you would put yourself through it just to see yourself bleed. Plus, you probably hide it later whenever your parents or friends are around.

Please don't cut, It does not do anything to help you I promise! :)

If you wan't to express your feelings or reach out to someone for help then do it! Don't just assume they'd ignore you or turn away there's always someone to help you. Plus its dangerous, if you do end up going too deep it may very well just end your life.

You have one life to live and once you're gone - it's done. Instead of causing more pain than you honestly should be experiencing just concentrate on the positive things. If you're depressed and don't like certain things about you, then change the way you are!

Now, I don't mean become a entirely different person than you are and be fake - but change what you don't like. If you're overweight do workouts, if you don't like your clothes invest and try a new style. You'll find out sooner or later that live is more than worth living and once you do trust me you'll wonder how you ever felt the way you do now. Good luck!

  3. A dear friend back at school used to do this. The reason most cut themselves its to release pain (mental) in other areas of their lives by creating a physical release - actual pain by cutting. It is a diversionary/avoidance tactic of sorts. You are seeking relief, similar to the chemical release of a good cry in a way.

Please try to get in to see someone about this - schools and local colleges tends to have student rates for therapy - your insurance likely will cover things otherwise. Please see someone - it is a compulsive thing and you will need a lot of support and cognitive therapy to break the cycle. But many people do/have done this - and come out the other side. They controlled it and moved past it - you can too. Just make a step towards getting help, even if it's a small one. Please. This is not as awful, and uncommon as you think, and there are people who can help you. I have seen it happen.

    Best of luck.

  4. It's a distraction from your real problems.  Please don't disfigure and mutilate yourself; you're only adding more problems to the ones you're trying to escape by cutting.  Resist and try to focus on what's genuinely troubling you.

  5. You know that George Lucas had an NDE which inspired him to look at life as honestly as humanly possible.  What he describes / depicts as "the force" (most bluntly in his Star Wars movies), is a palatable representation of his belief system.

You are fighting the dark side. You love the power of the life you have been given so much that you need to remind yourself that it won't last forever.

You must accept the limitations of your time here, and understand that your gifts are not wasted if they are not fully used.  While life is limited in length, its cycle will repeat until you are honestly bored with it, until you can embrace non existence.

  6. Because you are stupid.

  7. Demon possession.

Cann my friend Jindal.  He can help.

  8. your obviously not that afraid if you do it still. Thats just like saying, "im scared of heights" while jumping out of an aeroplane.

  9. you probably do it because you're telling yourself it helps, and know it helps, or out of habit.

i also have a similar problem - i'm terrified of blood, and yet i cut myself.

  10. Please don't do it.

  11. I'm confused. Why do you want to do it then?

    Plus you'll have nasty scars.

However, if you insist, don't do it too deep because if you do you may cut your artery.

    :)

  12. meh probably bordom i use to do that then i progressend to peircings now i got 2 pierced nipples an eyebrow bottom lip and the trouser snake got one through the head

  13. You implode.  Instead of exploding in bad situations, you generally internalize them.  They are manifesting themselves on your body.  Tell people how you feel more.  Don't hold everything in.  You will stop cutting when you are no longer effected by your current situation.
