So, I ended up buying this projector, it is a SHARP XV-H37U LCD PROJECTOR but I need help!?

ARE YOU USING A COAX HOOKUP OR RCA PLUGS?

If it has an internal menu on the projector, you need to devote yourself to at least a good half hour of study on it, finding what kind of settings surround your inputs specifically. If all of that looks to be in order, you may need to go ahead and attempt with an s-video cable, to see if that works. If that doesn't work, seek serious pofessional help with it, or, you could always call and talk to Sharp.

make sure your sending it a signal make sure you are on the same video source

and if that doesnt work then you have a fried video input area

if it has it try a vga input and watch movie through computer
