So, I was watching the Matrix last night...?

Question

During the part where Neo is getting all the fighting skills downloaded into his brain before he fights Morpheus and I started thinking to myself "If I had the chance, what skills would I download into my brain?" Of course skiing was also on my mind at that time, and I decided that I would either download the ability (and balls) to huck cliffs like Jamie Pierre, or to download the ability to compete at the World Cup level (downhill.) What would you guys do if you had a chance?

I love this question and your answers. I am a ski racer so I would download the ability to ski at the world cup level. However I would also download the ability to speak foreign languages so I could understand my crazy austrian coach. : )

Funny...I almost tuned into "The Matrix" as well, but opted for The National Geographic Channel instead.

After spending the day at Gore Mountain, I would have to say I would download the ability to drop sharp telemark turns on ice. It's something I've been working on for a few seasons and still haven't got down really well.

I'd also download the ability to do that whole "freeze time" thing as well as the ability to fly. It would really cut down on the travel times to the slopes and also eliminate the need to stand in lift lines, rent helicopters, or hoof it up the mountains. Likewise, it would allow me to never hit trees and make me able to avoid avalanche debris.

Finally, I'd download the ability to home-brew beer. I've tried making my own ale several times and never seem to get it right. I made a great IPA once, but when I try to make anything more complex I always s***w it up. I suppose, it's not a skiing ability...but good beer does enhance the apres-ski experience.
