I can't choose a favorite, but I'll talk about Led Zeppelin :)

They used to be my favorite band and when all this talk about the reunion happpened, I flipped. Someone from my school said they had tickets (yeah right) and I believed it haha

Anyway, I really hope they'll do a reunion. Robert Plant just needs to agree, I think. Seeing them live would make my life, well, part of it.

Those are my favourite songs by Led Zeppelin too, as well as Kasmir of course. They are such a kickass band, hopefully if a reunion concert does happen they'll be pretty good, I hate when old bands get back together and it's obvious they should stop.

Hey, did you know i gave led zeppelin their name???? Somehow we got to talking and i said "I hope your gig doesnt go down like a Led balloon" I believe after that, Entwistle blurted out "Like a lead Zeppelin". Well they liked that name, so it stuck!!! I think that is how it went.  My memory from that era is a bit foggy lol.

EDIT-No that is wrong. I was drinking with Jimmy Page and John Entwistle.we were bitching about our band mates Daltrey and Townshend.  Jimmy suggested that we form a band and i  said "Yeah that will go over like a lead balloon" then John blurted out "Like a Led Zeppelin" That is how it happened. When Jimmy formed his own band, he remembered that and thought "Lead Zeppelin" would be good, both from that conversation and the heavy/light contradiction similar to the band named IRON BUTTERFLY. They decided to drop the "a" so Americans wouldn't mispronounce it.  and the name stuck!!

My favorite Led Zeppelin song doesn't really have the best lyrics (How Many More Times), but the line "Little Robert Anthony wants to, come and play" always makes me laugh...

*Eh, I have nothing better to do now, so I'll talk a bit about Led Zeppelin... hmm... where to start? I think part of why I like Led Zeppelin is that I don't know why... I just feel like I'm going somewhere else when I listen. And I get so sick of people saying Page is horrible because he's sloppy when that's not at all the point... the way Jimmy plays controls how I feel. There's so much emotion in it, and I think it takes more talent to make someone feel an indescribable feeling than it does to be able to play perfectly. What does it matter if everyone just ends up nodding saying... wow, they are so technically talented. It doesn't matter if you don't make people *feel* anything! And Led Zeppelin's lyrics, I admit, are not most inventive, but sometimes I feel that I connect to Plant's "ahhs" and "oohs" more than any real words a person could come up with, so I don't mind the lack of lyrical brilliance. Actually, I was just with a couple friends whom I had had listen to The Lemon Song a while back, and the song was brought up somehow, and they were jokingly mocking my taste in lyrics... so, yeah, I pretty much just assured them that I don't necessarily listen to Led Zeppelin for the lyrics, although they do have several shining examples. Anyway, I'm afraid I'm much too tired to continue, but I feel this is plenty for now... :)
