  1. Ripley, Snooker equipment manufacturer?

  2. hopefully embassy sponsor them again, it was a real disappointment that 888 had sponsored them when i expected embassy, reminds me of the good old snooker times

  3. The governing body have claimed to have £4mil in reserve to cover any shortfall and expanding tournament dates in china and asia. I am surprised at 888.com as they need to keep their name visible to increase their market share and drive the other online bookmakers out of business as the credit crunch/recession hits. You might see a bookmaker with a more adventurous marketing strategy take up the reigns maybe even ladbrokes.com.

Cigarette sponsorship has been banned in britain, (except in Formula 1 due to Bernie Eclestones refunded donation, got what he wanted and his money back) so it wont be the embassy world snooker championships (I miss those days to).

Maybe a beer company, fosters seem to be spending quite a bit on advertising. Or how about Carlsberg for probably the best cue sports championship in the world.

  4. Hopefully a cigarette company.

    Edit: He means Riley.
