So, about Dwarf Hamsters...?

Question

So, can anyone who has a dwarf hamster tell me what they are like as pets? They are so cute and cuddly at the pet store; I hold them every time I go in, and I've only had one bite me, and I think it's because I was...uhh... accidentally keeping him from his lady friend.

I had ferrets and love little fuzzy babies. I don't expect them to be much like ferrets, but I was just wondering if someone could tell me what they're like.

umm.....there a good idea but the not as friendly as teddy bear hamsters...although i doo have one dwarf but the good think about dwarf is they live for 3 years

Ive had horrible experiences with dwarf hamsters, so now I'm on to Teddy bear hamsters, which I love<3

Anyways,

Dwarf hamsters, are very small, adn cute, but, there pretty territorial, so dont be stickin' your hands in there cage/face right away.

My dwarf hamsters used to bite the heck out of my little sister, and me, and we thought they were 'evil' till we went online a searched that its normal for them to not want to be played with or messed with much.

So, we tried our best to make them tame, but nothing worked for us.

After they passed through,

We bought a few teddy bear hamsters, and I could tame them right away, I tamed them the first day, and by the next day, I could hold them!

It was amazing.

I'd settle for a teddy hamster, there really cute and soft, aswell.

There not as small as dwarfs but, there not territorial either.

They make great pets. They are a lot of enjoyment for me and my wife. We've had 3 but now we have only one. They live for about 3 years. Make sure the one you get has been handled a lot.
