will lose?

Most excited about possibly signing?

I'm scared to death to lose Hossa, personally... I'd rather see Roberts retire and Malone walk (as much as I'd hate to see even that, with the heart he put into this run).

As for signing, I'm not 100% sure, though we could definately use a few more blue liners to clog things up defensively.

  1. I'm with you.  I'd rather see Roberts retire than lose Hossa.  However, I'm more afraid of losing Ruutu than Hossa. I don't want to see Malone go anywhere...he's great for the Pens.

  2. I think that the Sharks might lose Campbell.

I hope they pick up...actually I am not 100% sure what they'll do.

  3. I am a Wings fan but will add my 2 cents...KEEP HOSSA..he rules! Malone and Orpik also need to be held on to. Those 3 did wonderul jobs and have earned my respect.

s**+.tcan Malkin and get another power forward who isn't afraid to mix it up. Joey Thornton ring a bell? Malkin is Eurotrash and a non team player. The Cup series proved that.

  4. I'm afraid to lose Patrick Marleau.  If he can hang tight with the Sharks for another 25 more days, i'll be ok!

I'm excited about the coach signing.  Right now, its up in the air.  Rumors are flying everywhere, from Torts, to Q, to Dineen, to our very own Tim Hunter.  Nevertheless, i'm still holding out hope that it will be Pat Burns.  Work your magic Doug Wilson!

  5. I'm afraid of losing Prospal, who we probably will lose.

Possibly signing-Brian Campbell. The Flyers would be unstoppable with Gagne at full health and Campbell on D.

  6. For me-- Nashville and Dan Ellis...

Hossa may be the odd man out with the dou of Crosby and Malkin taking a big chunk of the piggy bank..  He is obviously wanted and respected in Pittsburgh, but may well fall victim to the dreaded salary cap..

And you know almost every  team in the league will give him an offer should he become available..

Excited about-- the possibility of locking up Suter and Weber longterm...

  7. If I talk about it, it might happen.

    Shhh.

  8. i think im going to go crazy if i hear one more person talk sh*t about Malkin, he was going through a slump, which most athletes tend to go through, he stepped it up big time when Crosby was injured, and was the second reason why they got this far in the playoffs to begin with. i'm a devils fan, and personally, i would love if they signed him, so yea maybe they should get rid of him, we could use a talented person such as Malkin.

  9. I hope the Leafs resign Sundin. They have about a dozen players they can dump, getting a new coach, a new GM (eventually) might as well get a new team while we're at it. Other than that, it should be a fairly routine off-season in Leafland.

  10. as a caps fan i hope we resign huet, cooke, and federov for different reasons.huet because i'm not sure if the young goaltenders are ready for the nhl  cooke because he came in and helped the third line and was good on penalty kills and federov  because he is good for helping semin keep his mind on the game

  11. The list go on and on. It will look like a different team next season. I dint think we will come up with the cash for Hossa. Which really sucks.

  12. Detroit fan here...

I hope the Wings don't lose Brad Stuart. His contract is up, and he was pivotal in the Wings' run to the cup this season.

  13. Hopefully Hossa just takes a paycut... if he wants a ring with the Pens. He will take a paycut for the sake of the team. I want to keep all of the players we had... only thing we didn't have last year was experience. I don't want to trade Malkin, because he is still the 2nd or 3rd best shooter on the Pens. Hossa, he was our best shooter and shut up those guys who said he couldn't deliver in the playoffs. Malone, great player by far.

I want to keep all of them... but if I had to choose one *sigh* can't believe I am saying this... Malone would walk.
