So, do the Jets have a chance of beating the Patriots this year?

if the jets beat them in week 2, then that opens the door for a playoff upset...but if they dont, then the patriots will more than likely get home field advantage throughout...and no one likes the jets chances in new england

Sure. They did before. Any diviision rival has a chance because the teams are so familiar with each other. But I doubt it will happen. Here are somethings to consider as a Pats fan:

The Jets do play the Pats in week 2. I don't have much concern about the Pats defensive front 7 BUT their secondary is going to take some time to get acclimated to each other. Farve will have a chance to score some points here. However, Brady and Moss are on the other side, and this will be an away game with no likely major weather conditions, but there will be noise. I still think the Pats win 42-24.

They go to Foxboro in Early november, barring injury they will probably get crushed.

Yes why not.  They seem to have spent big money to upgrade their team across the board and they beat New England 2 years ago with a lesser roster so yeah they will beat the Patriots at least once.

Believe it or not.... Yes.

Its not like the Pats can cheat anymore (as they are being carefully watched by the federal government and the NFL commission). So blend that with the fact that the Jets were the team whom the Pats were exposed cheating against (how pathetic is that), and you have a recipe for a good ol fashion game where the best will when...... and clearly that won't be the Pats or Jets.

it is a possibility that the jets could win one of the two games but overall i dont think the jets even with farve could be a better team...but im just a patriots fan so im a bit one-sided
