  1. As a BushHitlerburton NeoConRepug, I'm motivated to consume less because I'm cheap!

I ask the family to use cloth towels (not paper), to turn off the lights when anyone leaves a room for an extended period of time, to pass clothes and sports equipment from one kid to the next when they're not worn out or hyper-foul, to turn down the heat, to eat leftovers until the fridge is bare, etc.

However, it's not to please you, Earth First or Leo DiCaprio.  It's to save a buck.

  2. That's true but apparently they aren't lacking for anything right now are they? Critical shortages of metals and consumables led to rationing and collection drives sponsored by Uncle Sam. Not a small wing ding outfit.

They also sold War Bonds. Would you buy one of them?

  3. Nope, they won't because those people can't see past their own self interest..I think they're called Republicans...

  4. as far as copper and such in WW2  yes that is true,

now adays people simply do not care,

  5. I'd consider drilling for oil in Alaska out of patriotism during war time.  Is that close enough ?
