  1. Honda for sure the biggest disappointment, I have no idea how you put that much money into a car and have it turn out to be so useless. Today was a fluke.

BMW has been a bit of a surprise.

I'm mostly pumped about a 3 way tie for the points leader. I don't care who you are a fan of, this is the most exciting season in at least a decade.

  2. surprises:

kubica and BMW step forward to make it a 3 way battle.

Kimi isn't ahead by miles, i luv kimi

Mclaren built a good car after no construtor points last season

    Barrichello today 3rd go rubens.

    Webber 2nd in qulifying

    Disapointing:

    heidfeld in mangy-cours

Bourdais, he had a good start then faded

Piquet jr. hasn't got off aswell- i luv piquet jr.

    NO SLICKS-ROLL ON NXT YEAR

  3. Biggest surprise is Raikkonen's continued indifference. I guess I was pretty naive to think winning a title for a legendary marque would loosen him up somewhat! Alas, he continues to be on the wrong side of surly. Its getting annoying if i'm honest, and i like the bloke!

Disappointment, none yet, but i'm sure fellow answerers will make me aware of some!

  4. BMW have surprised me with their consistency and race management.

Heidfeld may have got some heat and be considered with one foot out the door but he's probably one of the most reliable drivers out there.

They've both been doing a fine job within a very efficient team.

Which is more than can be said of Ferrari.

It's fitting that on the day they messed up their race strategy ,Ross Brawn starred with his.

It appears that the legacy that Schumacher and the people he pulled around him left them is slowly but surely fading.

Massa may be a very fast driver but a team leader he is not and Kimi, well, he looks uninterested.

I have a feeling he gave it his all today but it didn't play into his hands, maybe he'll up his game from now on but how far can you go with no enthusiasm whatsoever?

  5. Biggest surprise: The pace and consistency of the BMW's.

Nakajima's recent improvement which has also resulted in 20% less chrashes at the back of the grid.

Trulli, Coulthard and Barrichello back on the podium this year.

Biggest disappointment:  Massa.  I know people keep saying we shouldn't judge him on one race but he's had a few where he's spun the car for no reason at all costing him the race.  For any other driver in any other team something like this may be excusable but not for a veteran who is fighting for the title in a Ferrari.

  6. Biggest surprise: BMW being so good.

Biggest disappointment: Raikkonen not leading the championship by a mile at this point. Does he want it anymore?

  7. Surprise: That Raikkonen hasn't effectively clinched the title, I think Schu or Prost would have won it already if they were driving this year's Ferrari!

Disappointment: Ferrari's errors, drivers throwing away points in a fast car, another questionable/costly tyre choice at a wet race (Fuji, Monaco, today)

  8. Biggest surprise is surely Max Mosley and his personal life! In terms of racing I would go with the Torro Rosso team. They're new car is not half bad and they're definitely punching punching above their weight.

Biggest disappointment is probably Rosberg. He's looked very good in the past and McLaren were interested in him for this year, but he's been outdriven by his rookie team mate so far.

Oh, and of course the demise of Super Aguri! I hope Davidson can get a drive for next year, he's not a bad driver.

  9. Biggest surprise: BMW doing so well.  I think we all expected them to be good but they've done more than that.

Biggest disappointment: that Ferrari is fading.  They only did well in France due to the McLaren penalties.  And today was much worse.  Constructors championship to be between McLaren and BMW; Driver's title to go to Hamilton.

  10. surprise:

    Webber quali 2nd. Heikki 1st.

    Rubens in 3rd :)

Mclarem and BMW have made steps forwards :)

    disappointment:

kimi he should be well ahead by now. Ferrari's how they are being lazy and making little mistakes which is costing them!

  11. Disappointments:

    Silverstone Going

FIA but not going into it

Rosberg - He had a Excellent start and now he is off form

    Surprise :

    3 way Battle

Hamilton coming bk from his Incidents

    BMW are looking strong

Mclaren looks like they got there act together

  12. The fact Lewis Hamilton is still in the title race tosser.

  13. Looks like your building a bit of a fan club Julian, can I join?

Now to the question, as many my biggest surprise is the outperformance of his team mate by Robert Kubica, my biggest disappointment is the failure of Renault to provide Alonso with a car worthy of his skills.

  14. Biggest Suprise - Webs consistency and the input of Newy seems to be making red bull "Webbers team" and my other surprise is the lack of praise for Seb Vettel for me the guy is genius

Biggest flop - Nico Rosberg I like the guy and im a ferrari fan and a Schumi man but I liked Nico a lot in his first couple of years and this one he seems to have gone off the boil this year which is a shame as he has talent

  15. Honda is still a big disapointment to me ....  all that money and they seem to make dog cars

Red bull    seem to be a suprise     A.N designs and input looks as if the teams moving forward .... better than renault

even though they provide the engine

I think DC should bow out early  after recent performances

Webber is coming on with confidence

  16. Biggest Surprise: that Hamilton`s still in it ...

Biggest Disappointment: that Hamilton`s still in it ...    lmao

  17. Lewis Hamilton and you !
