Question:

So, not much on here about the cease fire. Can an Israeli citizen or one of the two Pals tell me how are you?

Hopeless that's why I asked for either Dalia or ABC The only real Pals on here.

The rest of the wanna be's don't have a clue.

Pal talk a bunch of Canadians that all agree with each other and just practice their hate speech on each other to take to the world that doesn't care to hear anymore.

Pal talk unitelligent morans teaching hate and recruiting the mentaly ill and forgotten youth of North America just like some of the other cults that come and go. This will too.

And please I have heard all your contridictory stories about your three years (or is it two weeks) in the battle zone.

I tell better jokes than you do. My time in combat is real too. Can you see the blood? Wanna see the scars.

I made it clear I was wondering about those in harms way. Go to the mall or something.

  1. Your concern about others is not matched by your words to Hopeless.  Harsh.

  2. Hi there

The ceasefire aims to bring an end to Palestinian rocket fire from the Gaza Strip onto nearby Israeli towns and an end to Israel's military and economic actions against the Gaza Strip, so it is people who live in or near the Gaza Strip who are most directly affected by it.

I am in contact with people on both sides in that region, and I can tell you that the general mood there is still one of despair and frustration at the present time.  Intermittent rocket fire is still wreaking havoc on normal life for citizens in the Israeli town of Sderot, and Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are still experiencing recurrent blackouts and shortages of essential goods.

But there is room for hope - no rockets were fired yesterday, and so Israel has today opened the border crossings to allow goods to flow into the Gaza Strip again.  But the truce is very fragile, and it will take a period of sustained calm for the lives of ordinary people on both sides to finally get back to normal.

P.S.  Seems like you're doing a good job trying to promote peaceful dialogue on this site.  I'm surprised you've ended up with such a bad impression of Hopeless - from my experience I have found her to be a good-hearted person who desires peace.

JJ - The truce between Israel and Hamas only applies to the Gaza Strip, and not to the West Bank or East Jerusalem - this was at Israel's request because Israel desires to retain the right to act militarily against security threats within the West Bank.  Therefore horrendous as it was, today's atrocity in Jerusalem was not a breach of the ceasefire agreed with Hamas, even if it turns out that Hamas were behind it.

  3. Many Palestinians in Paltalk, they have their own rooms there, you could join the room and have live chat if you really want to know how they are doing. I'm not being sarcastic, I hope you understand me, it's just that not many Palestinians living in the ME use YA, and also I do believe that not many Israelis living in Israel use YA. One reason being YA only accepts english writing, and some people like or prefer to write in their own language. Take it easy. Cheers!

  4. Does a huge bulldozer ramming into buses and cars killing and injuring people in an act of terrorism count for "not so great"?

or how about ketyushas constantly slamming into the Israeli town of Sderot?  There is no cease fire for real.

    :-( wish there could be.

  5. Not so bad considering this cease fire is between a country and a none country.
