  1. When sending out a money order, if it's over $50 or so, I put it in a flat-rate priority mail envelope with delivery confirmation ($4.80 for the shipping service and about $.75 for delivery confirmation). That's just another way to protect yourself from being ripped off. Also, I only put my first/last name, the seller's first/last name and what I'm paying for (IE: 50 angelfish or 3 brand new DVD's, or even ebay transaction ID's).

  2. Pay to the order of: the name of the person or company you are paying. "Bill Smith" or  Consumers Power Co. etc.

Next... Payment for: ask your self why are you paying this person. What did you buy from "Bill Smith" or what service did he provide  for you.

The # section: an account number would go here or an invoice #

Sign the M/O and drop it in the mail. Give yourself a big hug.

  3. pay to the order of the person... keep the recepit for records... and keep it moving baby...

  4. You fill it out just like a check. Ask your parent if you need help. Make sure you have a copy or duplicate of it for your records. Just put it in an envelope & mail it just like a normal letter. Good luck!~
