in the quality of entertainment material during or after the strike? I have not. I think they should get day jobs...no career in Hollywood is necessary...Hollywood isn't necessary, pro sports and entertainment aren't necessesary...so it's hardly comparable to the German train conductor's strike. What do you think?

  1. Nope, I don't watch network TV.  I live in a valley close to the mountains and can not get local stations so I use satellite TV.  Plus the large selection of movies I have on DVD and HD-DVD.

  2. my thought was: what writer's strike, I'm watching football and basketball anyway.  Also the occasional book (they're already written)

  3. Yes, no new shows!  This after I spent a fortune building a home theater PC to record HDTV and watch it when I wanted to!

  4. More reruns sooner....

  5. I don't see what they have to strike over.  I guaranty you they make more money than I.

  6. Not in the slightest.

TV is boring at best.  Typically IQ robbing.

  7. I miss John Stewart and Colbert in this election cycle.

Although I don't agree with their coming back without an agreement with the writers,  it will be good to see them back next week to skewer the politicians of both parties for their stupid moves.

  8. For the few programs that I watch, I hate reruns.
