So, there is no such thing as a 13.3 reigning Quarter Horse?

  1. That would be a pony, if you are talking hands, I don't know if the Quarter Horse registration regulations have a height requirement, but many breeds do. If you were really curious you could look it up on the American Quarter Horse website. I don't know your situation, but   agility, which is required for a good reigning horse, knows not height. One of the best reigning horses I ever rode was 14 hands, and could turn on a nickel and give you back 2 cents change! Plus, if they come out from under you, less height to fall from :)


  2. 14.2 is declare a pony  , 13,3 is really small But it does not mean he can not be a reining horse

    so what is the deal ? HE would be declare a Quarter Pony

    which I have had one and they have shows for them
