So many people in here think they know better what to do than our elected officials...

Well...what's YOUR brilliant plan on how to handle Iran?

After what the US did in Vietnam, Korea, the Gulf war and Iraq it is obious Iran wants to protect them self from the threat coming from the US.

Just what we are doing, letting the UN be the driving force using diplomacy and sanctions as needed to convince Iran to give up it's nuclear program.

You know, they remind me of the little punk kid on the play ground that likes to mess around with the stronger kid, trying to provoke him into a fight. Do you know what happens to that little kid, he gets the c**p beat out of him. If Iran isn't careful that's what is going to happen to them.

Diplomacy and waiting on the UN to do anything is a joke. But in our current situation we have no other option. The UN is nothing but a watered down government with no real power. It started as a good idea but never developed. Iran is an irrational nation and one can't expect to deal with them rationally.

Let Israel handle the problem. We're already in debt up to our eyeballs and another war would make the US Dollar barely worth the paper that it's printed on.  And don't forget that the price of oil is geared to the Dollar, so you could pay $7/gal.
