I just bought an '07 Tuscani, 2.5L V6... and I know gas is totally out of control right now. I currently have a 4 cyl and I just hate it, which is why I bought the 6. Am I really going to be screwed with the way gas prices are? Or does it all depend on how you drive the car?

  1. if the four cyl is a 2000 or newer model it should save gas but so should the 6 cyl but your not screwed

  2. You will be okay just drive it sensible plus the V/6 will last a lot longer overall.

  3. a 6 cylinder has more horse power.. a 6 cylinder is a lot better than a 4 cylinder

  4. Alot of the fuel economy comes from how you drive. If you drive super aggressive and then switch to driving conservatively you could easily increase your fuel economy by 5mpg or more.

All things equal the 6cyl will use more gas. It's hard to get around that, but you can minimize it by driving carefully.

  5. u will lose about 2/3 miles per gallon....drive easy for best mpg..nothing u can do but be happy..

  6. A V6 should be able to get better gas mileage than a 4 because it doesn't have to work as hard. Yes it does matter how you drive it.
