i realize this is a pre season game and its his first start, but i was surprised how bad he played. I love to see the true Browns perform like last night! it just shows the lack of depth or the team. tell me what you think the Browns will do if Anderson gets hurt during the season?

  1. it wasn't the best. Idk if he was just nervous and rusty or if it was the offense itself. I would like to see him play another preseason gamejust to see how he bounces back from it but im not sure if he is ready to be the starter. There is a reason why they picked Anderson over Quinn. It really showed up last night.

  2. Brady Quinn is the back-up for a reason, and he showed that reason last night. If he were given an opportunity to start a whole year, on a team much like the 49ers then yea, he would probably be a lot better. Anderson has took all the QB attention in Cleveland

  3. That was a field test for Quinn. He failed. The front office now knows that when the day comes where they have to make a decision between Quinn and Anderson, then Anderson gets the nod.

As for whether this would happen during the regular season, Crennel would not allow Quinn to be placed the situation of winning or losing the game. They would be come a run first team and protect Quinn with a number of high percentage short range passes off of play action.

Of course, if Quinn wants to remain a Brown, he is going to have to step up and take the job from Anderson now. He won't get anymore passes from the fans or the front office.

  4. He sucks. Have you seen ted ginn lately. miami's #1 reciever returned a punt for touchdown againt the chiefs. And every laughed a said passing on quinn was a mistake. HA!  Chad Henne is better that Brady Quinn right now.

  5. he stinks i can see why he dropped so far in the nfl draft

  6. Even though his performance didnt have a touchdown it didnt have an interception either.I think his performance was solid. He was rattled at the beginning going 3 and out on 3 tries.but he turned it around after goin for 14-24 for 106 yards.Look he didnt do great last night but he didnt do bad either. When he was under pressure he threw it away, didnt force it.If your qb cant win the game all he has to do is manage it and thats exactly what he did.If your a fan yah its disappointin that he didnt score or didnt win the game.but he didnt make it worst for them either. If your the coach u loved it.
