Question:

So, what do you think of the 'I am Rich' iPhone app scam?

8 idiots got scammed out of purchasing a $1000 'I am Rich' iPhone app when all they received was an icon. lol They thought it was all legit and an 'exclusive' deal because it was sold through the Apple.com store. The apps are sold by independent merchants, but the apps are never authenticated by Apple itself leaving the burden of authentication on the buyer. Apple finally shut down the app once it quickly learned it was a scam, and banned the merchant for good.

Remember, these are the same types of idiots who buy a piece of toast with the picture of Jesus imprinted on it for $100,000 through eBay. lol. This is hilarious. Check out the story yourself if you haven't already.

  1. The fact that and app would cost so much is total BS.

I do believe that people should look before they click.

I do not think it is right but they are not "scamming" anyone. The price is listed. Now if you are stupid enough to click that is REALLY your fault.

Only 8 people in the world are concerned with this issue. You should look at the article you provided the link to. People that wish it was NOT gone.

I do not agree with it. I just like to look at the facts.

    UPDATE:

I do not need to prove anything to anyone. I was answering your question. Stating a opinion.

I can see if they were advertising some "exclusive" offer that nobody got being a scam but that is not the situation.

I am not saying that it is right. I am just saying nobody was "misled" so I PERSONALLY do not see it as a scam.

Everyone is entitled to there opinion and this is mine.
