  1. I love Japanese food myself. It's simpler and healthier no matter where you get it from :) My favourite is Okonomiyaki, a kind of savoury pancake with a special sauce and mayonaise and a meat of choice, yummm! And also Katsu-don which is crumbed pork on rice.

  2. My sister and I often eat at the local asian restaurants - not being big eaters, we have a set formula that works for us - we order one dish, maybe sun dom chicken, duck with bean sprouts, sweet and sour fish filets - you know the sort of thing - and we share that, along with a plate of asian greens, maybe chinese broccoli or sugarsnap peas, or garlic shoots; and we have steamed rice. So we have a nice healthy meal that doesn't weigh us down.

  3. Hey,  if i pay can i join you.

  4. Unless I go to s specific restaurant that makes the absolute best "whatever", I try something I can't cook myself and/or have never tried.  If I find a new dish that has seafood, spicy or exotic vegetable, I try it.

Of course at any new restaurant I try some standard dishes to establish a benchmark for restaurant skills.  Like the clam chowder at a seafood restaurant or garlic bread at an Italian place.  If they can't make chowder correctly how can they make a proper Halibut Olympia.

For a Chinese place I try the egg roll and hot & sour soup.  How else would you know if they made a dish you never heard of before correctly.

    Most of all, enjoy.
