Question:

So, who's gonna do something to try and preserve life since no one apparently cares?

There are now so many species on the endangered/extinction lists there may not be any animals and plants for the next generation. Will everyone sit by and do nothing?

  1. I understand your concern.Remember that there are many organisations including governments who are constantly working to do what it takes to preserve and regenerate environments in order to preserve 'life'. You are worried, so are millions of other people, but there are those, including some governments who persist in destroying our planet's environment for financial gain.. spot them , publicise it ,then don't let go 'till they stop. It's a big problem, rainforests being cut down at a frightening rate, over the last 30 years of chainsaw use, along with the pollution of seas and waterways by commercial shipping and fishing, not to mention whaling and undersea nuclear bomb detonation testing, wars and of course now we also have the added problems of high UV and lack of stable weather patterns (water and wind) but where there is a will to survive there is a way. We do need to replant the rainforests, stop overfishing our seas and have a lot more respect for our weather systems because otherwise aside from the loss of our natural world ecosystems..countries , industries and corporations will go broke from lack of sales and resources as public oppinion goes against them.

Most good people are not sitting back and doing nothing, they are attempting to reduce their waiste, contributing to environmental organisations with money and trying to raise awarness of their concerns, as indeed you are doing by asking your question.Don't give up, we have a long way to go yet, there is a lot of hard work to do to get these issues under control and it is a long term strategy so aside from extinctions, nothing is going to happen overnight!

  2. I agree with you.."no one apparently cares"!

But "caring" begins from home!! In your quest for environmental harmony, don't forget to protect that most important specie...THE UNBORN (HUMANS).  They need protection as much as the owls, the snails, the eagles, etc. etc.  NOT TO DO SO IS A TOTAL HYPOCRISY ON YOUR PART!!!!!!

My question to you is: " Have you protected a human life lately?"

  3. Tell people, hold signs up. That will help people get interested.

  4. I WILL NOT SIT BY AND DO NOTHING.

Hold on I have to turn my polar bear steaks, they are cooking over an open styrofoam fire and you know how hot that gets.

  5. Personally I will not join the battle to specifically preserve wildlife.  That's not say I don't care.  I think it is despicable that we are destroy animal habitats, polluting so much that animals can not survive and killing animals for sport and fashion and just discarding most of an animal because it was killed for it's fur.  So, as much as I care about the animal I think that everyone should play to there strengths well trying to save our planet and my strength is science so I prefer to focus on conservation of energy, lights out and alternative energy.  Hopefully, these efforts will in turn help the animals (i.e. birds will stop flying into buildings at night where lights have been left on!)  Also, I try to consider how alternative energy sources will affect animals.  I don't believe in wind farms because they affect air currents in turn affecting the animals but I will leave the animal rights activism to someone who is better suited to the job.

  6. If, as you say, "no one apparently cares", then that doesn't leave anybody do "do something", does it?   You answered your own question.   And really, there may not be ANY plants or animals for the next generation???    You are in need of help.
