Burial,Cremation or freezing yourself so that maybe in the future you can be brought back to life and cured.

Me, I just want to be dumped in the ocean and let the fishes eat me,nibble me and S**t me out.

I want to go out with a bang! with bells, whistles, and streamers.

In other words, I want my family to hold an Irish wake. So I want a cheap funeral and all the money that would otherwise go on expensive coffins and corteges and wreaths and special crematorium fees and gravestones or whatever to be used to pay for the catering.

It's not an unusual request - most of the funerals in our family are just handy occasions to catch up with cousins. It's just that as I see it, my own could be all that much better if a bit more thought could be put into making it a grand day out.

Burial with a plain plaque, I expect, is the cheapest and least hassle. I don't know. Don't you have to apply for special permission to be buried in an un-ordinary way or place?
