So I am just getting into golf, my boyfriend introduced me to it, and I tried driving the golf balls but?

Question

I used a wedge gold club (I think it was called). And that's what I drove the gold balls with, I had one that i drove 175 yards, it was my farthest one. But I know they have gold clubs called drivers, and that's what some guys were using at the driving range but like me there were a few people using wedges.

So my question is:

If I am really into only driving the golf balls should I buy a driver or a wedge?

and should I get a expensive one or just a cheep on for now, because I don't to go to the range that much because it is far from me.

I would get the aquity women's set. Its cheap which is perfect for someone who is just starting and doesn't really know if they will take it up. And its not the golf clubs its the golfer. Try working your way up through the wedges, irons, and fairway woods.Then Conquer the driver.

I suggest you take some golf course first.

Then choose lady clubs.

You would be much better off to purchase a single iron, like say 5 iron. These clubs are the most important full swing clubs for golf. Also, the swing should be the same regardless of club selection, and learning with a 5 iron is easier than learning with a driver or wedge, which require much more proficiency. One more thing, if you get frustrated by everyone telling you what to do, take a golf lesson from a PRO. They really do know better than anyone and have the patience to see you develop your golf game. If they are too expensive for you, try park district group clinics.
