the teacher is giving me a chance to add a little more information, but my book just doesnt cover what she wants to know..... here is her question

" On the essay part, I want the story about how mammals arose, the mass extinction of the dinosaurs (when and how), which mammals survived and where they were living- and why mammals had the traits that helped them survive.

Can someone at least point me in the right direction, even a link would be helpful! Thanks

  1. Possibly your teacher is trying too hard to be polite and subtle.

How many books did you read and list for the bibliography of the essay?

Dig Archaeology & Paleontology (Top left of site page) There are at least two more articles of interest on the page that appears from that link. These may also be helpful.

Google: "how mammals arose" (no quotes)  and go thru  the

others that come up. May have some geography and when & how dinosaurs extinction occurred.

  3. The mammals that survived the mass extinction of the dinosaurs, primarily lived underground (i.e. rodents)...
