So I am trying to understand Obama's taxation policy for the middle-class?

Question

He wants to give a 1,000 dollar stimulus check to the middle-class, yet just voted to raise taxes on these same people. So is this like the store who jacks up prices then has a "sale"?

Thoughts?

Obama wants to lower taxes for the middle class and raise taxes for the rich.  Below is a link to a comparative chart on Obama's and McCain's tax plans.  Obama's plan is obviously better for the middle class.  I don't know what tax raise you are referring to.

My thoughts are that John McCain thinks people making $1-5 million a year are middle class and those are the ones whose taxes he wants to cut. People making less than $1 million are poor and the government needs to stop cradling them.

Obama wants to raise taxes to European levels, as well as give hundreds of billions of your dollars away to "impoverished " countries.

Overall, your taxes (as a middle class citizen) would increase over 20%

I love the fact that the libs are quoting the Posts version of Obama's plan....they FORGOT to include the fact that the Bush tax cuts would be negated and then the overall effect would be a 12% INCREASE in the MIDDLE CLASS taxes....but don't let FACTS hurt your dreams libs...YET someday you may WAKE UP and find more missing....Hopefully McCain will win and we wont have to deal with Barak Hussein Obama
