  1. You have provided too little information to answer definitively.

    If:

    The sounding board is not cracked

    The action is perfect and balanced

    The pin block holds adequately

    The hammers do not need re voicing

    The surface finish all around is good

    Pedals function as designed

    Then you did OK.  In that price range i might have considered a digital, as they require no routine maintenance.

Hi  M.   If you got a solid wood piano for $900 and it is in excellent condition..... you did great!!  Considering new pianos are starting at $3500 and going up from there.   Even if it needs tuning.... maybe $350.00,  you are still WAY ahead of the game.    Take the money you saved and go an a vacation.   Thanks for reading.   :))

  3. If you like how it sounds...it was definitely worth it, it should also increase in value as time goes on.
