So I can't play new Blue Ray DVD's on my computer unless there's software that can read Blue-ray discs?

Could some one make software for you computer to read blue-ray discs, or is this not possible?

  1. Maybe in the future its probably getting worked on right now.


  2. yep it's not software , not amount of software could play blu-rays ,

    wat you need is a blu-ray drive , and you can only get them in very high spec laptops ,

    have to agree wit the TC above

  3. You need a Blu-ray drive, and a software that can play it. WinDVD and PowerDVD has software that can play Blu-ray.

  4. It's not software you'd need, it's a Blu-Ray drive.  I don't think those are out yet -- but they will be soon, now that Blu-Ray has won.
