I've done it all, drama, music, and dance as our "specials"

or art classes.

We get graded on our specials too of course.

Are those legit things to put on an acting resume??

  1. yeah, they are definitely good things to have on there...

most resumes are structured like this:

                                             Full Name

                               Eye Color :               Height:

                               Hair Color:                Weight:

                               Vocal Part:

    Previous experience:

    show name                       character name                  director

    Education:

    (name of your school)

    Training:

    acting-(list acting teachers)

    voice- (list vocal teachers)

    musical theater-(list musical theater teachers)

stage movement-(if you have a movement teacher, list that)

dance-(list dance teachers with type of dance in parenthesis)

    Specialty Skills:

(list any special skills you may have, examples- accents, dialect, ballroom dancing, knowledge of a foregin language, acrobatics, etc. )

...everything capitalized should be in bold and your name at the top should be the header. that is the standard format as far as i know. i hope it helped:)

  2. I would think so!

It never hurts to put stuff like that on there!

    Good luck.

  3. I too go to a performing arts school in the music and theatre program. On my resume I list under training my high school's name, then "full time student" so I don't have to list every class I've taken at the school.
