I read online a while ago about upper respiratory infections, and I was wondering if they could go away by themselves? I plan on calling a vet tommorow about this, but what about right now? I already have a mouse so I got her a little friend today, the new mouse is in a seperate cage about 3.5 YARDS away from my original mouse, my original mouse is in a 10 gallon aqaurium, the new mouse is in a wire framed cage, is this going to get my original mouse sick? ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.

  1. You can get mice medicine @ petstores that sell mice/ mouse supplies. You may also want to talk to the vet. It shouldnt get your other mouse sick. but to be careful i would set the cages farther apart, clean the sick mouses bedding and make sure you wash your hands before you play w/ your mice (either one) every time because germs from your hands can get your mouse sick and it could possibly spread the infection. Best of luck to your mouse, he should be fine after a vet visit and possibly some medicine.

  2. it shouldent i would just wait fir the vet hope it all goes well

  3. change the bedding!
