So I got this soround system for Xmas but now I do not know how?

To Install it, I pluged my Xbox 360 in and it works perfectly but there is no sound coming out of the TV speakers, can any of you tell me what Im doing wrong? or how to set it up so that ALL THE SPEAKERS WORK??

why would you want sound coming out of the TV's crummy speakers? That effect is done much better by your center channel and front speakers. Depending on your system/receiver you can pick and choose different speaker settings... ie basic surround that leaves the rear speakers doing little work until called in for appropriate effect (in surround sound all your speakers should not be giving off the same sounds, ie if someone is talking it should only be coming out the center channel and not all 5 speakers. This basic surround sound has tweaked settings on most receivers, like movie theatre settings, jazz club, rock concert etc... you can also use settings like 5 channel entertainment which and stereo that send the same sounds through all the speakers, this ok (at best) for music but is nonsensical, confusing and pain bad for movies.

If things simply are not working properly check your wires, connestions and read the instructions
