Everytime I get on the brakes, I get a pretty bad vibration.
I have done quite a bit to elminate problems to no avail.
1. Changed front pads and rotors
2. New tires (no change)
3. Rear pads (no change)
4. Rotate & balance tires (vibration has not moved)
5. Had front rotors turned. (only pulled off .008 on one side)
6. Finally took to mechanic. was told that my rotors were out of balance. needed to set them true to the car. When they did this, found nothing was wrong with front, they did rear free of charge. Said that left side looked pretty bad, was the cause of my vibration. A dealership did this one.
So my rotors are nowtrue to the car and I still have the vibration, granted it's not nearly as bad as it was, but it's only time until it comes back.
So I still think it's my ABS, but I've no light. I can feel the brake apply and release when my slows down a bit through the pedal. It has always felt like it was in the front right.
BTW it's a '03 Chevy Impala completely lost now
