  1. Feds pay relocation, don't they. Try looking at some of the federal websites for the Navy and Army and Marines. They post job announcements there.

What type of work are you looking for, anyway?

  2. Many pay relocation for quality candidates.  Companies frequently pay $12,500 - 22,000 for candidates through recruiters on a daily basis.  However, picking a state then saying, I want to move there is not the way relocation works.  Another major problem is the location you picked.... Well, thousands of people want to relocate there too.  If you want to move on your own expense there are several shipping companies that will move your stuff providing you live in a 2 bedroom home or smaller for a few thousand dollars.  When you get larger than that expect closer to 5 - 10k if you need it done right.

As a side note companies pay relocation when they have a need.  Typically they hire a recruiter or do their own.  Often they are not in a 'prime' location - if they were there would be no need to relocate they could hire from the local pool.  If someone was that oustanding this person would know the companies to target; most likely not ask here....  Possibly CEO or national VP level candidate.

It sucks but it is what it is.  I see you on a beach soon just paying your own way though.
