So I was summonds to become a jurer on a waiting list but my husband threw the letter away???

What happens when I don;t show up and don;t mail in my letter of excuse, I don;t live in the city they are requesting me to perform this jury-in-waiting duty, that is one hour and a 1/2 away sp I haven't gottent he address to send the letter of excuse to and I am afraid they will send out a warrent for my arrest or something liek that. My husband could care less what happens.

usually an attorney or para-legal at an attorney's office will inform you what to do and how to remedy your issue.

You have a telephone, don't you?

Call any and every phone number you can find and tell them your story and someone will finally have the number you need to call to find out what to do

Once you get a live person, give them your name and possibly your ss# and they will be able to find out what you should do

Who cares what your husband thinks about this, you are the one who is going to pay the bill-take charge and figure it out!!
