  1. O yee of little faith.  Ozzie will be fine.  He's a great goalie and I have 110% faith and confidence in him.

  2. I would NEVER put my faith in Hasek...why did even sign this old pieca S**t.

  3. If Osgood blows in the finals, the rest of the Red Wings will pick up the slack.  Ozzie (Mr Confidence) is out to prove he should have started this post season from the start.  He is more than capable of shutting down the Pens with the help of the rest of the team. his numbers have been consistent throughout the entire season and better than Fleury thru the playoffs so far, (and should continue)  The Wings should have passed on Hasek from the start and brought up Jimmy Howard from G Rapids in order to groom him to take over in the next couple years.  Plus the Wings would have saved some money in the salary cap by not picking up the old, oft injured 40+ flapper, flounder, you get the picture...

    LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!

  4. I don't think Ozzie will blow it.  He's been there before and came through.  He was the starting goalie in 98 when we won the cup and he got the job done back then.  In the event that he did though, I have no doubt that Hasek can step in and get the job done.  He may be old, but he's had awhile to rest, is fresh, and has still been practicing just as a precautionary measure.

    Go Wings!!!!!

  5. Osaverage won't "blow"...he'll finally be exposed for being average.  He hasn't faced a team with as many weapons as the Pens.  There's no way he'll stop them all.

And Hasek won't fare much better.  Remember, Dom was the backup in Chicago when the Pens beat them for the Cup too!

  6. osgood wont blow it, and if he does get many goals scored on him it wont be his fault, it will be the defense

  7. if ozzie blows it and dom blows it maybe holmstrom will step in since he by the goalie at the other end

  8. The only "if" is "if" the pens can beat him. I don't see that happening.....he is not the only one playing defense on the club.

  9. I have tons of faith in Dom... that's where Detroit's definitely got an advantage... two solid goalies.

I think that old dog still has quite a few tricks left in him

  10. i don't think he will, but if he does, the wings are screwed, dom can't play right now, expesially against the pens

  11. Beer I think Ozzy would be fine but if not The Sperminator will step up so his free agency lands him a little more $$$ before he flounders into retirement.

  12. no, i don't have faith. i have respect for his career (one of my favorite goalies because he proved critics wrong), but a spade is a spade, and he is not reliable right now.

if Osgood is pulled, the wings are flipping coins w/ what "flavor of the day" they'll get w/ Hasek. and we've all seen the possibilities.

and the SCF is NOT the time to have a goaltending controversy.

look at 97, 98, and 2002. it was already decided who the backup was.

  13. I think Dom will step it up because he'll know how big this series is. As much as Dom Ticked me off this season, I think when it comes down to it, We have no choice.

  14. Ozzy will be just fine.  He is always solid and rarely will lose you a game.

I don't have much faith in Dom.  He is old, injury prone, and has been sitting for several weeks so he would be rusty and even more likely to get hurt.
