  1. Don't expect much.  Your shrink needs to figure your diagnosis first before helping you.

  2. haha u could exspect a lot of talking  lolz ........................~xoxo ally*

  3. They will introduce themselves and ask about you. Your age, where you live, work or go to school. They will ask who you live with like parents, grandparents and siblings. They might ask if you have a boyfriend and how many good friends and how many aqantances you have. They will also ask you what causes you the most stress. Lastly, they will ask how you will pay the bill.

  4. More than likely he will set some ground rules.  You dont seek counseling from others while you are seeing him.  Policy on appointments.  He will probably try and see why you are seeing him, and maybe set some goals. Basically, its going to be more of a meet and greet type of session.

  5. Well first off, he'll/she'll be the one asking the questions. Second, it is part of his/her job to make you feel comfortable enough to answer his/her questions. If this person is making you feel uneasy and doesn't seem interested in you, give him/her about 20 minutes to turn it around, if he/she doesn't, then leave and go find another shrink.

  6. Just tell the truth. He's heard it all before.

it's best not to deceive him that way you'll get better that much quicker.  it's kind of refreshing to be able to tell all of your dirty secrets\problems to someone who won't judge you.

Expect him to basically ask you about your entire background and family health issues\relationships so he can get an idea what's wrong.

    Good Luck!
